Four Store Employees Arrested For Selling Nicotine E-Liquid To Minors, Police Say | Local news beyond Sachem

CENTEREACH, New York ( / – Suffolk County Police arrested four people over the weekend for allegedly selling e-liquid nicotine to minors in the Sixth Ward.

“In response to numerous complaints from the community, officers from the Sixth Precinct Crime Section conducted an investigation into the sale of vapers and e-cigarettes to minors in which nine companies were verified for legal compliance. “Police said in a written statement.

Police said the arrests took place between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Saturday.

– An 18-year-old from Selden, an employee of Hemp Cloud, 1515 Middle Country Rd., Centereach

– John Mardos, 24, of Port Jefferson Station, an employee of Hookah City, located at 2717 Route 112, Medford

– Jeremiah Turpin, 22, from Mount Sinai, employee of Barcode Hookah and Smoke Shop, located at 39 Route 25A, Mount Sinai

– Faith Bal, 50, of Nesconset, an employee of Cloud Vapor and Smoke, located at 160 Route 25A, Mount Sinai

All four clerks have received field appearance tickets and are expected to appear in Central Islip First District Court at a later date, police say.
